1. Why should Mexico be my preferred destination for my surgery?

Based on our extensive experiences in Mexico, the culture as a whole remains warm and welcoming of foreigners visiting for either leisure or medical tourism.

2. What is the first step in preparing for the surgery?

First and foremost, any individual who will be traveling to Mexico from outside the country’s borders must obtain a Passport if they do not have one or if their Passport has expired. Unfortunately, a Passport card is not sufficient identification for traveling into Mexico, though it is sufficient for crossing back into the States.

3. Will I need a passport?

In order for any foreigner to cross into Mexico without being held up at the border, it is essential that they have a passport. Furthermore, in order to utilize the medical lane en route back to the States, a passport will be required.

4. How do I get a passport?
All information regarding obtaining a passport may be found on the U.S. Department of State's website: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

5. How long will it take for my passport to arrive?

The processing time for a first-time U.S. passport can vary depending on several factors, including the time of year, the demand for passports, and the type of service you choose. There is always the option to pay an additional fee for expedited processing, which generally takes around 4 to 6 weeks. If you choose to have your passport delivered in 1-2 business days after it's been processed, you can pay an additional fee for this service as well.

6. Which airport will I be flying to?

If you’re coming from anywhere outside of the San Diego area, you’ll be flying to the San Diego International Airport (SAN).

7. Is the cost of the hotel included?

Yes, we will cover the hotel fees for your stay.

8. Will someone pick me up from the airport?
Your designated coordinator will be waiting at the airport to pick you up.

9. How will I find my coordinator?

Your coordinator will be waiting with a sign that has your first name on it near the baggage claim so that they may help with your baggage if you prefer.

10. Where will we go after I am picked up at the airport?
Your coordinator will take you to the hotel where you will be able to relax.

11. Will transportation be provided for the whole duration of my stay?
Yes
